Grade is not the only comparison
A higher grade is an important progression signal, but the item still needs to help the hero and stage you are building for. Compare these before replacing equipped gear:
- whether the item belongs to the correct category or slot;
- whether its useful affixes support survival, damage, or cooldown needs;
- whether the apparent grade upgrade removes an effect your current setup relies on;
- whether the item should be kept for synthesis instead of equipped immediately.
